Treasure Island Hotel Las Vegas

Treasure Island Hotel Las Vegas
Treasure Island Hotel Las Vegas
Treasure Island was known for the longest time as the host for the best Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas: Mystere is still the best show in Vegas for the money in my opinion offering outlandish sets, costumes, music and great look and feel polished with outstanding acts and theatre. It was focused on being a great family themed casino but as we all know; casinos aren't for kids. So once management realized the mistake they changed the name to TI. "TI" is so corny but that's the world of marketing sometimes.

Treasure Island Hotel Las Vegas
Treasure Island Hotel Las Vegas
This ship is part of Treasure Island's free show called Sirens. It is performed nightly on the Strip. The best time to check out all the details in front of TI is during the day. Look carefully because skull rock can easily blend into the landscape.
Treasure Island features probably the best free outdoor show on the strip called Sirens of TI involving huge pirate ships, half dressed pirate girls luring in the wayward sailors from another ship, followed by a heated fireworks backed battle, loud crashing music, swinging men and cannons firing across water soaked actors, with some diving into the waters below. This is done right on the strip in front of the casino and when the show is active you really cannot make your way past due to the crowds.
Sirens is worth seeing at least once espceially if you have kids but get there at least 45 minutes before showtime or the little ones won't be able to see much. The show lasts about 30 minutes.

Treasure Island Hotel Las Vegas
Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas or TI is located across the strip from Wynn and Venetian. The shows are the best thing about TI and the price is always fair. I have always had decent service here but then again I am not a jerk when it comes to little details since I spend my time gambling. Noisy casino is fun and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Treasure Island Hotel Las Vegas
Overview: TI is an exciting adult remake of the original Treasure Island
Location: Central Las Vegas Strip
Restaurants: I always thought Kahunaville was a lot of fun with thier flair bartenders doing tricks with glasses and silverware at the bar. Mexican at Isla Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar, Social House features sushi and Asian cuisine with Strip views, the buffet is quite extensive and everytime I have eaten there it has been well worth the price
Nightclubs, Lounges: Mist is the nicest, few others throughout
Casino: 90,000 square feet, including Blackjack, Caribbean Stud Poker, Craps, Keno, Let It Ride, Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Poker, Roulette, more than 2,000 slot machines, and an active poker room, race & sports book has seating for 150 people with 20 TV's and 10+ big screens for major events.
Entertainment: free Sirens of TI show on the strip, Mystère best show for the money in Vegas and family friendly
Extras: free monorail connects TI to the Mirage, walk next door to the Fashion Show Mall
Pools: 1 good sized pool and a giant 50+ person hot tub outside
Health Club or Spa: WET spa is fairly upscale,
Shopping: small shops and restaurants sprinkled around but mostly sell TI related merchandise. Check out this list for serious shopping.
Wedding chapel: numerous packages offered inhouse including one from the ship used in the show and showcased strip front
Childcare facilities: No
Pets allowed: No
Parking garage: 7 story free indoor parking garage
Shuttle service to the airport: back and forth to the airport by a private company, better to take a cab unless you are real short on cash.
Shuttle service to Strip: Treasure Island is ON the strip, no shuttle needed
Hotel amenities: Typical along with onsite car rental, valet parking, salon, currency exchange, laundry, luggage handling, electronic check-out.
Miscellaneous: Check-in time is 3 pm and Check-out time is 11 am. The minimum age to reserve a room is 21 years and there is a maximum number of guests per room of four. Must provide a credit card for incidentals

ARIA Las Vegas

ARIA Las Vegas
ARIA Las Vegas
Located between the Bellagio, the Cosmopolitan , and the Monte Carlo on the Las Vegas Strip, City Center is an MGM project of amazing proportions. Spanning 76 acres, City Center will include condos, hotels, a casino, a shopping and entertainment complex, a Cirque du Soleil theatre, convention spaces, and just about every other aspect of city living imaginable. Designed to be a city within a city, finally giving Las Vegas a true urban hub, City Center is the largest privately funded development in the U.S. Several buildings, all of impeccably modern design, are located within City Center, including the Vdara, Veer Towers, Mandarin Oriental, the Harmon, and at the heart of all of this—the Aria Resort and Casino.
ARIA Las Vegas
ARIA Las Vegas
ARIA Las Vegas
Designed in every way to take your breath away, Aria Las Vegas fuses modern architecture with environmental sustainability and tosses in unparalleled service to make sure no one is left disappointed. The Aria Resort, as with the rest of City Center, aims to integrate into the environment as much as a gigantic, manmade urban center can. With this in mind, the interior of the Aria Resort is furnished with reclaimed wood, stone, and natural lighting streaming in from phenomenally large windows. This contrasts strongly with the rest of Vegas, which aims to make sure gamblers never see the true light of day. Aria Las Vegas has an expansive three-story-high lobby, also flooded with natural light. Further emphasis on environmentally-compliant features include water conserving innovations throughout the resort.

ARIA Las Vegas
The Aria Resort and Casino has 61 stories and 4,004 rooms, all offering services and amenities sure to make your stay here one of the finest in the city. Floor-to-ceiling windows in each room continue the open feeling of the lobby and corridors, and warm color and texture combinations aim to create a comfortable and relaxing space. The environment of your room is adjustable via a remote control.

As with many of the hotels in Las Vegas, there is a full range of amenities at the Aria Resort, but the level of service here is what truly sets this hotel apart. Dining options from a quick bite at a café all the way to fine restaurants run by world-renowned chefs are available. Lounges, bars, and nightclubs ensure that the nightlife here is varied and catering to many preferences. A spa with the latest in relaxation treatments complements the salon, barbershop, and fitness room. A fine art program places creative works throughout City Center.

Like the MGM Grand, Bellagio, Treasure Island and more, the Aria Las Vegas headlines a Cirque du Soleil show—this one centered on the music of Elvis Presley.

Aria City Center possesses 300,000 square feet of convention space with the flexibility to accommodate groups of 10 to 5,000. Ballrooms and 38 meeting rooms are spread over three levels, and the north side of these rooms has an open wall overlooking the lush pool area, continuing again with the emphasis on natural light and open spaces here.

At the pulsating heart of the forward-thinking City Center, the Aria Resort and Casino is an experience like no other in Las Vegas.

Most Expensive Hotels in The World

Most Expensive Hotels in The World
Most Expensive Hotels in The World
As is well-known, The Burj Al Arab, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a one of the most expensive hotels in the world. It holds only 28 double-storey floors which accommodate 202 bedroom suites. The smallest suite occupies an area of 169 m2 (1,820 sq ft), the largest covers 780 m2 (8,400 sq ft). The cost of staying in a suite begins at $2,000 per night. The Royal Suite is the most expensive, starting at $28,000 per night.

The Burj Al Arab is also the third tallest building in the world. It stands on an artificial island 280 m (920 ft) out from Jumeirah beach, and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. It is an iconic structure, designed to symbolize Dubai’s urban transformation and to mimic the sail of a boat.

The Burj Al Arab has attracted praise as well as criticism. After all, it has been standing there. As one critic said, ” both the hotel and the city, ultimately, are monuments to the triumph of money over practicality.” There is no need to talk about money, just appreicate it as a work of art. Maybe I would spend some there for one night to satisfy my curiosity ,if I have enouth money.

Las Vegas Hotels

Las Vegas Hotels
Las Vegas Hotels
When it comes to hotels in Las Vegas, you almost have too many options. There's the always busy strip hotels that make the city a shining example of excess, the middle class vibe of the downtown hotels, the far flung off strip hotels that range from Hard Rock glamorous to utilitarian spots like Boulder Station — the rest of the city is equally populated with small-time hotels, motels and RV parks that means there is always a room available somewhere in town.

Las Vegas Hotels
While Las Vegas NV hotels are everywhere, the majority of tourists descend upon the well-loved strip casinos. To add a taste of sophistication to go with your trip, Las Vegas hotels like the Bellagio, Caesars Palace and the Mirage are ready and waiting in the heart of the strip. Few things in the world compare to these hotels, converting the city skyline into one of the most recognizable strips of land in the entire world - the American version of Shanghai's Bund, complete with running up billions of dollars in electric bills. Though the Paris, the newly renovated Planet Hollywood, Treasure Island and the Venetian are not quite as popular as the largest hotels in Las Vegas, each of them offer excellent experiences while keeping the price down just a little.

The Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand and off-strip hotels like the Hard Rock and the Palms are also of the same tier, casino-wise, and their clubs and bars are absolute requisites on any tour of unbelievable Las Vegas nightlife.

The Wynn is one of the many in luxury hotels, with a steep rate to match the luxury. It has to be seen to be believed, but there's a reason Steve Wynn was so proud to affix his name in giant letters on the gleaming exterior.

The best values on the strip happen to be on the southern part of the strip. The Excalibur is often the cheapest hotel with easy access to the other strip casino hotels, and if you don't mind the occasional child running past your blackjack table, it is one of the highest rated hotels in Las Vegas. Similar things can be said for the New York New York, while the Luxor is every bit as good a value as the Excalibur, but with a mind-bending interior, a better buffet and a giant spotlight on top.

There are plenty of other Las Vegas hotels on the strip, each one offering about the same thing, but with different themes to catch your eye. Circus Circus doesn't really resemble its name, but it's a good deal and further away from the main crowds of the strip. The Stratosphere attempts to look futuristic, but in the quaint way that the imagined future looked to designers back in the 50s.

The Fremont Street Experience winds its way down its namesake street in downtown Vegas. Here you'll find a number of more subtle hotels in Las Vegas, like the Plaza, Binions and Golden Nugget. While quality here is more inconsistent, the casinos make millions of dollars on middle-aged tourists tired of the strip, and on budget travelers that still want an authentic Vegas experience.

All in all, there are hundreds of Las Vegas hotels to choose from and all withing range of the popular things to do in Las Vegas, but mostly it comes down to location and price. The first thing most people ask when you return from Las Vegas is: "Where did you stay?" a far less depressing question that the usual follow-up: "Did you win?"

Abu Dhabi’s Spiraling Helix Hotel

Abu Dhabi’s Spiraling Helix Hotel
Abu Dhabi’s Spiraling Helix Hotel
The Helix Hotel in Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Bay doesn’t have floors like we’re used to – instead it spirals in sections of a corkscrew from top to bottom with no clear breaks, flowing from retail to residential, and hotel suites to saunas. The hollow center keeps foot traffic flowing while infusing interior spaces with coastal air and natural light, while on the outside GROW panels are fast at work harnessing solar and wind energy. Because of its unique design, every room has a slighly different view — perfect for watching over the contruction of Zaha Hadid‘s Sheikh Zayed Bridge just next door.

Abu Dhabi’s Spiraling Helix Hotel
Leeser Architects‘ design of the Helix Hotel won the invitation-only competition sponsored by Al Qudra Real Estate and QP International. In cooperation with environmental design consultants at Atelier Ten, the Helix Hotel, which nearly floats right into the Persian Gulf, will maximize use of local natural resources likes sun, wind, and ocean water while keep guests comfortable in all 208 rooms.

Abu Dhabi’s Spiraling Helix Hotel
GROW panels made from 100% recyclable polyethylene will be installed on the exterior and will collect energy from both the sun and the wind. Interior temperatures will be managed by a cascading ocean-fed waterfall in the atrium that will help maintain interior climate and humidity levels, while a retractable glass wall will open up to cool sea breezes that constantly circulate fresh air.
